Senior Staff Accountant

Position Overview :
As the
Senior Staff Accountant
you will play a critical role in themonthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, andensuring compliance with GAAP. This is a hands-on role that will involveworking with MS Dynamics GP and leveraging strong Excel skills. The positionreports to the Accounting Manager and offers significant exposure to seniorleadership.
Key Responsibilities :
Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in compliance with GAAP.
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
Analyze financial results and explain key variances to management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Support audits and assist with documentation requests.
Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2 years of accounting experience, ideally within a private equity-backed or healthwellness environment.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
Experience with MS Dynamics GP or similar ERP systems.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
