Position Overview :
As an Accountant, you will be a key player in the finance department, supporting the company’s accounting functions and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The role offers the potential for permanent placement based on performance and fit within the team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation and management of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform day-to-day accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Support the tracking and reporting of Work-in-Progress (WIP) for ongoing construction projects.
- Review and process construction-related invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor payments.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and industry regulations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare cost reports and forecasts related to construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to provide financial insights and support for project budgeting and cost control.
