Events Coordinator

Chippewa Valley Music Festivals is looking for a full time Events Coordinator to handle a variety of event logistics, communication, and day of coordination. This person will be part of the events teams for both our wedding and event venue (Fest Valley Events) and three music festivals (Force Fields, Hoofbeat, and Rock Fest). The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, personable, detail-oriented, and highly organized. Must possess strong communication skills, be able to meet shifting deadlines, work well under pressure, and effectively problem solve.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and execution of event logistics before, during, and after the festivals
• Basic design projects, social media content creation, and administrative duties
• General festival grounds set up to include working outdoors and on your feet
• Provide excellent customer service in-person, via phone, email, and social media
• Perform assigned duties at all three festivals and other small events as assigned

Wedding season responsibilities:

• Work closely with Events Manager to know all aspects of the venue
• Attend assigned weddings and small events from start to finish to ensure that everything runs smoothly, including supervising incoming vendors, managing guest safety, and responding to guest, client, and vendor needs throughout the day
• Venue turnover including set up of tables, chairs, linens, decor, and more
• Bar and supply inventory, stocking, cleaning, and organization
• Constant communication with Events Manager and team to ensure clients have the best possible experience before, during, and after their event

This is a paid position with an hourly rate. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM and special event hours vary to include evening and weekend hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
