High School Principal
CVSD is accepting applications for the High School Principal position. Champlain Valley Union High School (CVU) serves 9th through 12th grade students from the communities of Charlotte, Hinesburg, St. George, Shelburne and Williston. This position is supported by the CVU staff and leadership team, and the central office staff.
We are seeking a candidate who is a good match for the high functioning staff at CVU. The successful candidate will have the professional skills and personal attributes to interact well with students, staff, and parents and to manage the day-to-day operations and work in collaboration with the CVU and Central Office Leadership Team.
The position qualifications require a master’s degree, a Vermont Professional Educator’s license and endorsement (3-91) as a school principal. A demonstrated track record of success as a teacher and school level administrator is desired.
This is a full-time position to begin July 1, 2025. A competitive salary and benefit package will be offered to the successful candidate based upon qualifications, education, and experience.
