What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meals on Wheels Delivery Driver (PT) position at CW Resources, Inc.?
Role and Responsibilities:
- Loads necessary thermos and other food containers onto van utilized for delivery of meals. All containers should be checked to ensure that all sites are accounted for and that meals are loaded in a manner to avoid spilling.
- Delivers meals (congregate or individual) to assigned sites and addresses, including carrying food items into sites as directed.
- Pick up any pans ready to be returned.
- Cleans cambro containers and other food containers daily.
- Cleans and maintains vans as necessary.
- Assists kitchen personnel as requested including in picking up supplies, stocking and delivering.
- Assists in equipment purchase and repair as appropriate.
- Maintains a professional and pleasant attitude at all times.
Essential Duties:
- Must be able to maintain a clean driving record
- Must be able to transport Cambros of food from one location to another.
Qualifications and education requirements:
- High School Degree preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year preferred in the food industry

- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

While performing the duties of this job the incumbent will have to sit, stand and or walk for the majority of the shift. The incumbent is required to regularly talk or hear while fulfilling the duties of the job. The incumbent may have to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move more than 75 pounds. The incumbent must have a clean driving record as they may have to act as a backup driver.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations will be made. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the environment can be loud depending on what kitchen machinery is in use.
Background Check:
Must submit to a background check prior to hire and ongoing as dictated by the contract. Must be able to pass criminal and drug screening processes to meet current contract eligibility requirements that apply.
