Job Description

Core Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable machine learning models and algorithms to address specific business challenges
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends that drive business value
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to:
- Understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Design and implement data provisioning pipelines for Finance/External Reporting domains
- Develop data-driven solutions for critical business challenges
- Conduct rigorous experimentation to evaluate model performance and optimize results
- Develop comprehensive metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure business impact
- Document data sources, methodologies, and analyses for knowledge sharing and future improvements
- Apply advanced statistical methodologies to solve complex business problems
- Stay current with machine learning trends and contribute to the team's knowledge base
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field
- 4 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data science roles
- 2 years of professional experience in machine learning or related field
- 1 years of experience with Natural Language Processing methodologies
- Retail industry experience
- Python programming and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Spark ML and SQL
- Statistical analysis and experimental design
- Machine learning fundamentals
- Model deployment and productionisation
- Ph.D. in related field
- Strong mathematical foundation
- Proven track record of applying ML techniques to solve real-world business problems
- Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing
- Learn and adapt quickly to new technologies
- Think critically about business problems
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
