Overview
We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining an efficient cashiering process.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide assistance with their inquiries
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds following company policies
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise displays are appealing
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Supervise and support other team members as needed
Skills
- Proficient in sales techniques and customer service best practices
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change
- Experience with stock management and maintaining inventory levels
- Familiarity with cash register operation and Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus for assisting diverse customers
- Knowledge of retail math concepts for pricing and discounts
- Ability to supervise and guide team members effectively
- Experience in conducting product demonstrations to drive sales
