In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure the highest quality in software development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define software requirements and deliverables.
  • Implement and optimize microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of applications.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Stay current with emerging Java and Spring Boot technologies and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be a Singaporean Citizen due to business needs.
  • Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot .
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
  • Proficiency in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
  • Knowledge of containerization and cloud platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure).
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
