Commercial Tire Technician Description:

As a Cy-Fair Tire Road Service Commercial Tire Technician you will perform tire service and repair work, fleet inspections, scrap tire analysis and other duties as required to service customer vehicles on the road, work site, or company yard. Pay is hourly wage plus commission on labor.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Traveling to work site in company vehicle
• Mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing all types of tires from passenger to large trucks.
• Completing required paperwork for road service calls
• Adhering to OSHA regulations for safe driving and maintenance of the offsite work environment
• Unload/Load trucks and restock new inventory
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Sweep floors, keep work area clean, and free from hazards
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Attend meetings held by manager.
• Using protective safety equipment to ensure safe operation of machines and comply with all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Any other duties requested by management.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous tire experience
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Frequent bending, twisting and lifting over 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Environment is very hot during summer months and cold during winter months.
• Must possess a mechanical aptitude.
• Some shift work and/or work on Saturdays required.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
