About the Job
As part of our Digital, Data and Technology practice expansion, we are seeking an Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in financial services (banking, payments, insurance & or wealth) technology to drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and regulatory-compliant enterprise architectures for banking, payments, insurance, and wealth management clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud migration, API-driven ecosystems, and fintech integrations while ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology strategy.
Although this role requires hands-on technical expertise, there is also a requirement for stakeholder management and collaboration with Capco sales teams on business development. Therefore, you must possess the soft skills associated with being a trusted advisor with the ability to tailor your conversation to the audience (CEO, CIO, COO, CDO, Transformation leads, Business leads).
Responsibilities
- Define and implement enterprise architecture frameworks and target state architectures, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Design microservices architectures, API ecosystems, and event-driven systems.
- Evaluate SaaS / PaaS vs. custom-built solutions for financial institutions.
- Drive data strategy, enabling efficient real-time analytics and AI / ML adoption.
- Design cloud migration and modernization efforts (considering hyperscalers such as AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop technical roadmaps for financial system transformations, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance across enterprise-wide technology solutions.
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, translating technical concepts into business outcomes.
- Partner with CIOs, CTOs, and business leaders to drive strategic technology decisions.
- Support relationships with third-party vendors, cloud providers, and fintech partners.
- Guide agile development teams to ensure architectural consistency and best practices.
