The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CAD drafting and 3D modeling, a strong understanding of construction/MEP drawings, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret Structural, Architectural, and MEP drawings.
- Independently create detailed and accurate models/drawings for precast concrete, cast-in-place concrete foundations, and structural steel miscellaneous structures using 3D CAD programs.
- Develop models or drawings based on customer-supplied drawings, data, and specifications.
- Prepare Bills of Materials for precast concrete, cast-in-place concrete, and structural steel structures.
- Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with industry drafting standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multiple departments and team members.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned by upper management.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional time management and focus on job responsibilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in reinforced concrete design.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in general, industrial, or oil field construction.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in 3D CAD drafting.
- Proficient in industry-standard detailing software, such as Tekla Structures, AutoCAD 3D, Inventor 3D, SolidWorks, and Revit.
- $80-110k base depending on experience
