We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will manage the processing of invoices and payments for our construction and real estate projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including invoices and expense reports.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers to track and verify billed services and materials.
- Support the month-end closing process by preparing accounts payable reports and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
- Combination of Associate Degree in Accounting and 3 years of experience or a total of 5 years of relative experience
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
