Key Responsibilities
- Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary.
- Strip existing paint from aircraft surfaces using appropriate methods and tools.
- Apply paint finishes to aircraft surfaces in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct quality checks on painted surfaces to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in painting or related fields is preferred.
- Proven experience as a paint technician or similar role in the aviation industry.
- Strong knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and safety standards.
- Ability to work with various tools and materials used in the painting process.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
