Assistant Project Manager - Residential

Position Overview

The Assistant Project Manager - Residential will support the project management team in overseeing residential construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of residential construction projects.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
• Manage project documentation and maintain accurate project records.
• Support the project manager in scheduling and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Prepare financial tracking reports and assist with invoicing processes.
• Participate in change management processes to address project modifications.
• Utilize project management tools such as Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet for tracking and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment on project goals.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of change management and process optimization techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, and other project management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions quickly.
• Experience in financial tracking and invoicing processes in a project setting.
