Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in various aspects of civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury and insurance defense cases. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions
- Manage a caseload of personal injury and defense litigation cases
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Attend court appearances and depositions as needed
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the practice
- Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active member of the Texas State Bar
- 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in personal injury or defense litigation
- Strong research and writing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
