This role is pivotal in maintaining client relationships, managing audit teams, and providing strategic insights to enhance operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to auditing standards and guidelines.
- Review and evaluate audit workpapers and reports prepared by junior staff, providing constructive feedback.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Identify areas for operational efficiencies and improvements within client organizations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and enhance service offerings.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (Masters degree is strongly preferred)
- Active CPA license is strongly preferred (can also be CPA eligible)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in audit and assurance services.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Salary: $75K-$90K/yr DOE
