Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated network solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, automation tools, and industrial control systems. This role focuses on enhancing network efficiency, reliability, and performance through automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated network configurations and management solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network automation with SCADA and control systems.
- Troubleshoot network issues and optimize performance of network devices and servers.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, control system documentation, and control panel drawings.
- Assist in the development and implementation of network security protocols and best practices.
- Provide training and support to team members on network automation tools and processes.
- Monitor network performance and prepare regular reports on automation effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong experience with networking technologies, including Cisco switches and communication protocols.
- Proficiency in system administration and troubleshooting of servers and PCs.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems, PLC logic, and databases, including SQL servers.
- Familiarity with control system documentation and control panel drawings.
- Experience with networking protocols and engineering methodologies.
- Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and cGAMP guidelines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with relevant experience in network automation.
