Automation Project Manager

Position Overview

The Automation Project Manager will oversee and manage automation projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and drive the project team towards achieving project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for automation projects.
• Run small to medium size projects (2 to 5 people, up to $500k)
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and resources effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executive management.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all automation initiatives.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in automation or industrial engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA systems and automation technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
