The Building Controls Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales of building automation systems and controls solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the building controls market.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in client organizations.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations of building automation systems to potential customers.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to customize solutions based on client requirements.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and pricing for projects.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and competitors to better position solutions in the market.
- Support account development and marketing efforts to enhance brand presence and drive sales growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in building automation systems or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of building controls and automation technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with marketing and account development strategies is beneficial.

Salary : $80,000 - $130,000
