What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temperature Controls/Building Automation Technician position at inControl, Inc.?
inControl, Inc., Southeastern New England's premier independent building automation, construction, and service organization, is seeking a qualified and experienced controls installer / service technician to join our team. You must be self-motivated, able to work independently and be quality conscious. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, commissioning, and servicing automatic temperature control systems, be reasonably computer literate, and have a good general knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems. The candidate should also have excellent listening and customer relationship skills. Schneider Electric EcoStruxure / Andover Controls experience, and a basic knowledge of computer networking and TCP / IP a plus.
If you are an experienced HVAC technician who would like to learn the controls side or are tired of hauling compressors up to a rooftop, we would also like to talk to you. If you are an experienced electrician who would like a change, we also would like to speak to you.

Applicants should either reside in Rhode Island, eastern Connecticut, or southeastern Massachusetts, or be willing to relocate. There is no remote work for this position. This is an in-field installation and service position on job sites throughout Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. We are not looking for engineering or programming candidates at this time; if you are strictly a computer guy or engineer without any significant HVAC or electrical experience, this job is not for you.
