Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of financial strategies and plans.
- Manage and supervise a team of accountants and financial analysts.
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Controller or equivalent role.
- Proficiency in Sage 300 accounting software.
- Excellent management, supervisory, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software.
- Experience working with construction company accounting practices is an asset.
