Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in various civil engineering disciplines, particularly in water and wastewater systems. The role involves designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects that focus on water drainage and environmental management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee projects related to water and wastewater systems including treatment plants and drainage systems.
- Conduct hydrological studies and analyze data to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with architects, environmental scientists, and other engineers to ensure project feasibility and sustainability.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding water and wastewater systems.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new projects.
- Provide technical support and guidance during the construction phase of projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in pursuit of licensure.
- Proven experience in water design and wastewater engineering.
- Strong understanding of hydrology and drainage design principles.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools for design and analysis (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
