Civil Engineering Team Lead (Public Works)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Team Lead to oversee our Public Works projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of civil engineers and ensuring that all projects meet technical specifications and are delivered on time and within budget. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and a strong focus on project management to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of civil engineers in the design and execution of public works projects.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with organizational goals.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform project planning.
• Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and specifications for public works projects.
• Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the relevant state is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on public works projects.
• Proven experience in team leadership and project management.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and public works regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
