Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, producing high-quality parts, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining processes.
- Perform regular maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure parts meet required specifications and tolerances.
- Utilize precision measurement tools to confirm dimensions and specifications of finished products.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize machining processes and increase efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of tooling, machining processes, and G-Code programming.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Familiarity with milling and turning operations.
- Experience with precision measurement tools and quality control procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and set up CNC machines effectively.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software is a plus.
- Understanding of safety standards and practices related to machining and manufacturing.
