We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial painting projects, ensuring all aspects of a project are considered to maximize profitability and project efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required resources.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial painting projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets and timelines.
- Review and assess bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide support during the bidding process and negotiate contracts as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of project costs and adjustments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the commercial painting industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial paint applications and processes.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in project management is a plus.
- Salary: $75k-$130k
