Based near Stroudsburg, PA we are a construction steel frabrication and construction subcontractor that's been around for over 20 years. We are primiarly focused on commercial projects and are looking for an experienced Estimator to join the team.
This position is 100% on-site, Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4pm EST.

- Collaborate with project management and support staff on estimates
- Create comprehensive estimates, plan the take-off of materials and calculate the costs of all required labor, materials, buyout items, and equipment.
- Create proposals with detailed scope of work and a breakout of costs
- Prepare estimates for new projects and estimate rates on modification orders on existing contracts
- Read and comprehend work bid instructions and comprehensive specifications
- Collaborate with contractors throughout the bidding phase
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years experience working with structural and miscellaneous steel takeoff
- Proven ability to estimate labor costs and equipment rental costs
- Commercial construction experience (ground up or re-model)
- Estimating software experience (Stack, Sage, Edge, PlanSwift)
- Strong experience managing labor/work hours through estimates
- Attention to detail, a strong sense of organization, and a constant dedication to safety

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
