Position Overview
The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role focuses on compliance auditing, risk management, and developing strategies to mitigate compliance risks within the manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Develop and implement compliance management programs that align with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Perform risk analysis and risk assessment to identify potential compliance issues and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of compliance and safety throughout the organization.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, ADEM, and DOT regulations and standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance regulations and industry best practices, including TSCA and SARA Title requirements.
- Manage chemical safety programs and safety data sheets (SDS) to ensure proper chemical management and safety protocols are followed.
- Lead Kaizen initiatives to continuously improve compliance processes and reduce risk exposure.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Environmental Science, Business Administration, or Compliance Management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance auditing or risk management, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of compliance regulations including ISO 14001, ISO 9001, OSHA, EPA, ADEM, and DOT.
- Experience with risk analysis and assessment methodologies, and familiarity with compliance management systems (CMS).
- Proven skills in developing and implementing compliance programs and safety management initiatives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex compliance issues effectively.
- Certifications in compliance or risk management are a plus.
- Automotive experience a plus
