A key factor in predicting the cost of building is budgeting, which we have a great deal of experience with. We are consistently trusted by clients to budget projects before they are designed. Developers and owners can make wise and well-informed judgments for their construction demands by doing this. Having the most accurate budget is more important to us than having the lowest one. We want Estimators who will want to succeed and thrive!

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our construction team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project drawings and specifications, preparing accurate cost estimates, and ensuring that all estimates are aligned with project goals and budgets. This role is crucial for the successful planning and execution of various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project drawings and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project conditions.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure estimates meet project goals.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing information.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to management.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with commercial, multifamily, and tenant improvement projects is a plus.
