Position Overview
The Continuous Improvement Leader will be responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and promoting best practices across all manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
- Conduct regular assessments of operational processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops on continuous improvement techniques, including 5S and Dart methodologies.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of improvement efforts and report findings to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost savings and efficiency improvements in production and administrative processes.
- Utilize ERP systems, specifically Oracle PeopleSoft, to analyze data and support decision-making processes related to continuous improvement efforts.
- Promote a safe working environment by integrating safety practices into all continuous improvement activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical focus
- Proven experience in a continuous improvement role within a manufacturing plant setting.
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles, Kaizen methodology, and Six Sigma Certification is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage change effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Oracle PeopleSoft, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all levels of the organization.
