Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to oversee our accounting and financial operations. The Controller will manage accounting processes, ensure compliance with GAAP, and provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Manage the accounting team and ensure efficient financial operations
- Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with SOX
- Monitor WIP (Work in Progress) and job costing to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare project billing and lien waivers in a timely manner
- Provide financial planning and analysis to support business initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial performance and project profitability
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with construction accounting and job costing
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage and Quickbooks
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary : $115,000 - $135,000
