We are seeking a skilled DIE Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of die tools, ensuring optimal performance and quality assurance in the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on die tools and equipment
- Install new die tools and ensure proper setup for production runs
- Conduct quality assurance checks on die tools to ensure they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with die tools in a timely manner
- Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime during repairs
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in die maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of tooling repair techniques
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
