Position Overview
The Director of Asset Management (Self Storage) will oversee the strategic management and operational performance of our self-storage portfolio. This role is responsible for enhancing asset value, maximizing revenue, and ensuring the effective management of storage facilities while aligning with the company's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement asset management strategies for self-storage properties
- Monitor and analyze financial performance and reporting for storage units
- Lead and manage property managers and operational teams to ensure high performance
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Coordinate with marketing teams to optimize occupancy rates and revenue generation
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies across all facilities
- Prepare and present reports to senior management regarding portfolio performance and strategic initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in asset management, preferably within the self-storage industry
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Familiarity with market trends in the self-storage sector
- Ability to develop strategies that drive profitability and operational efficiency

Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
