Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the engineering team in mechanical design projects.
- Oversee the development and implementation of HVAC, plumbing, and control systems designs.
- Ensure projects align with sustainability goals and high-performance design standards.
- Support sales teams by providing technical expertise and engaging in client presentations.
- Develop and maintain project design, conceptual design, and working drawing documentation.
- Prepare specification documents and ensure code compliance for all engineering projects.
- Conduct recruitment and training programs to develop engineering talent and internship opportunities within the organization.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Engage in performance contracting initiatives to deliver efficient project solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of Mechanical Design experience within HVAC & Plumbing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering management or leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge and experience in mechanical design, HVAC, plumbing, and controls.
- Proven track record in sustainability practices and performance contracting in engineering.
- Excellent presentation delivery and communication skills.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in high-performance and low-energy design projects.
- Experience in sales support, estimating, and project design.
- Familiarity with drafting, detailing, and specification documentation.
- Understanding of code compliance and engineering training practices.
