Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency in the manufacturing process.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of production, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards in all production phases.
- Monitor production metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, including quality assurance, supply chain, and sales, to align operational goals with business objectives.
- Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
- Oversee maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of meat processing and production techniques, specifically in gyros, lamb, beef, pita, and baked goods.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale production operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams.
