Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
- Manage the purchasing team and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to forecast material requirements and manage inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities.
- Monitor budget and spending to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in purchasing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Salary: $150k-$200k
