The EHS Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs within our manufacturing facilities, carrying the objective of ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a safe working environment for all employees while minimizing environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify safety hazards and environmental risks.
- Provide safety training and support to employees and management to promote a culture of safety.
- Monitor air quality, wastewater treatment, and effluent discharge to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
- Lead investigations of accidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote lean manufacturing practices and reduce waste.
- Analyze safety data and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
- Associates/Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in EHS roles within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance standards.
- Experience with safety training and development of EHS programs.
- Familiarity with Title V air quality regulations and wastewater management would be great
- Lean and Six Sigma experience and ability to identify opportunities for change/improvement is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
