What You Will Be Doing
- Create electrical systems, varying in complexity.
- Power, lighting, distribution systems, heat tracing, and general equipment installation designs are examples of design types.
- Coordinate overcurrent protective devices, conduct short circuit and arc flash analyses, and assess power quality and dependability.
- Develop low-voltage system designs, encompassing security, telecommunication, life safety, and instrumentation and controls
- Work in tandem with members of the electrical and other disciplines' design teams Participate in client design reviews so that presentations can be made to clients.
- Compose testing documentation, reports, sequence of activities, and technical specifications.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of MEP electrical engineering
- Active P.E. License
- MEP industry exposure (municipal/civic, educational, health care, commercial)
- Knowledge of NEC requirements (electrical clearances, circuit sizing, de-rating, motor circuit design)
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- BlueBeam
- Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Project management, budgeting & deadline experience
- Valid driver's license in good standing
