- Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate estimates for electrical work.
- Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for various electrical projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Prepare bid proposals and present findings to project managers and clients.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
- Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle as changes occur.
- Assist in the evaluation of subcontractor proposals and negotiate contracts.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as an estimator in the electrical construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Experience with estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
