Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on employee benefits issues, including retirement plans and welfare benefits.
- Draft and review plan documents and amendments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist clients with compliance audits and regulatory filings related to employee benefits.
- Stay updated on changes in employee benefits regulations and communicate implications to clients.
- Conduct research on employee benefits laws and regulations
- Juris Doctor
- Barred in the state of NY
- Strong understanding of employee benefits regulations, including ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code.
- Experience with compliance issues related to retirement plans and welfare benefits.
- Competitive Base ranging from $130,000-$170,000/year
