Epicor Controller

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Controller with ample Epicor Experience to oversee our financial operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and driving financial planning initiatives. The Controller will play a critical role in resource allocation and cost control within our medical device manufacturing business, providing strategic insights to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, including forecasting and variance analysis.
• Develop and implement standard costs and cost accounting processes to enhance profitability.
• Review and approve capex requests and ensure proper resource allocation for projects.
• Utilize Epicor ERP system to streamline financial processes and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to the finance team, fostering professional development.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in the medical device or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Epicor ERP software and other financial management tools.
• Experience with financial planning, forecasting, and cost accounting methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various stakeholders.
