Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee our financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, managing the month-end close process, and leading financial planning and analysis activities.
The Controller will also be responsible for developing and implementing standard costs and cost accounting processes to enhance profitability, reviewing and approving capex requests, and utilizing Epicor ERP system to streamline financial processes and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and leadership, with experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role, preferably in the medical device or manufacturing industry.
- Skills: Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting; proficiency with Epicor ERP software and other financial management tools.
- Qualifications: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail; strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with various stakeholders.
