Position Overview

The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects. This role involves collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure all aspects of the project are considered in the estimation process, ultimately contributing to successful project execution and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather and interpret project requirements.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather additional information for estimates.
• Prepare detailed breakdowns of costs, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Ensure estimates are submitted in a timely manner and within budget constraints.
• Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle as changes occur.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials, particularly in asphalt, concrete, and earthwork.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to ensure accurate estimates.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and clients.
