Position Overview: The Estimator is responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for construction projects. This position requires a high level of knowledge and experience in construction estimating, budgeting, gas/water distribution, and digital takeoff software.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates for construction projects including utilities, gas/water distribution, wastewater, etc.
- Analyze plans and specifications and develop cost estimates utilizing digital takeoff software.
- Provide advice to management on the best strategies to manage material and labor costs.
- Develop and maintain detailed project budgets.
- Provide project scheduling and management support.
- Assist in the negotiation of subcontracts and materials pricing.
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress.
- 3 Years of Estimating Experience - Required
- Experience Working on Gas/Water Distribution Projects - Required
- Strong knowledge and understanding of underground construction system solutions - Required
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field - Preferred.
- Base Salary: ($100k - $160k DOE) Bonus
