The Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and providing detailed estimates for various construction projects. This role involves analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare comprehensive bid proposals, ensuring profitability and competitiveness in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals and timelines.
- Gather and evaluate data to determine costs of labor, materials, and equipment.
- Prepare and present detailed bid proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor project costs and provide updates and recommendations to management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in negotiating contracts with clients and subcontractors.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and cost estimation methodologies.
- Experience with General Contracting, Ground-Up projects, and Commercial construction preferred.
- Familiarity with Multi Family, Hotel, K12, and Retail projects is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in project management software and estimation tools.

Salary : $85,000 - $130,000
