Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis of legal issues
- Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other legal documents
- Represent clients in court, before administrative bodies, in arbitration, or during negotiations
- Review and draft contracts, pleadings, agreements, and other legal documents
- Provide advice to clients on legal rights, obligations, and remedies
- Analyze legal risks and provide creative solutions
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in VA state bar
- Strong knowledge of Family Law
- Excellent research, drafting, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple cases at once
- Experience in providing legal advice and representation in family law cases (preferred)
