Finance Account Manager

Are you a proactive leader with a knack for financial precision and compliance? As our Accounting Manager, you'll oversee and manage accounting functions, financial reporting, and internal controls. You'll support strategic financial initiatives while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple subsidiaries, consolidating reports for executive leadership.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to meet regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans across business units.
  
  

Accounting Operations

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax compliance across all industries within the company.
• Ensure proper cost allocation and financial tracking for intercompany transactions.
• Manage cash flow and oversee reconciliation processes for all accounts.
• Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  
  

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to GAAP, tax regulations, and industry-specific financial requirements.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and filings.
• Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  
  

Process Improvement & Technology Integration

• Evaluate and implement accounting software solutions to streamline financial processes.
• Develop and optimize financial workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide training and support to accounting staff on new systems and best practices.
  
  

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals.
• Collaborate with executives, operations, and department heads to align financial strategies with business goals.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-industry or holding company environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to financial management.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
