The Fleet Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials, tools, and equipment for fleet operations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement process for fleet-related materials, tools, and equipment.
- Develop and issue RFQ packages to potential suppliers.
- Evaluate bids and negotiate contracts to secure the best pricing and terms.
- Coordinate with various departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
- Maintain and update purchasing records and documentation in the supply chain management system.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable service and quality products.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Coordinator or similar role, preferably in the fleet or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of purchasing processes and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience with bids and contracts.
- Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
