Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise multiple construction crews on heavy civil projects including roads, bridges, and underground utilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
- Coordinate project schedules and resources to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Review project plans and specifications to ensure all work is performed according to design.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to resolve issues and provide updates on project status.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to quality standards.
- Train and mentor site personnel in best practices for construction and safety.
- Proven experience as a General Superintendent in heavy civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of grading, excavating, concrete work, and underground utilities.
- Experience with CALTRANS projects and requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
