Salary: $100,000-$170,000/year Annual Bonus Sign On Bonus
Plant Size: 120 - 150 team members (non-union plant)

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize heat treatment processes for various materials.
- Conduct experiments to determine the best heat treatment parameters for specific applications.
- Be part of the process of creating and adjusting heat treating recipes
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure heat treatment processes align with product specifications.
- Analyze heat treatment results and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to heat treating processes.
- Maintain documentation related to heat treatment specifications and results.
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in heat treating processes and engineering.
- Prior experience running a heat treat facility (batch and belt) and worked in the process of creating and modifying recipes
- Familiarity with cold forging and cold forming techniques
- Knowledge of metallurgy and fasteners design is desirable.
- Experience with coating processes and batch manufacturing is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
