Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather data for accurate estimating.
- Prepare and submit bids in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all specifications and requirements.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Review and analyze subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor project costs and assist in managing project budgets as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an estimator in the heavy civil construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction methods and materials.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as HCSS or B2W
- Prior experience with deep foundation, high voltage, and/or underground utility projects
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Salary : $120,000 - $200,000
